The prolific Sylvestre has written another article about the differences between the Amstrad CPC models (french).

SymbOS v3.0 RC1 (14/11/2016) is available.

Changes since the last update : fixed bug in the widget management of the extended desktop, the widget feature can now fully used as well, and increased booting speed.

F.L. (Barbarian 1987) just added the other cars in his Outrun remake. See the Youtube video of this new version of the remake of Outrun.

The new features are :

• route D finished
• new fonts
• new screens of end play
• and last, map of the animed race with the small car done

ACE v1.13 by Philippe Rimauro is an Amstrad CPC emulator for MorphOS.

This version brings several enhancements for cross-development (thanks to Krusty). It corrects also several small bugs and brings some enhancements in emulation code (thanks to Kevin Thacker). Then, it brings structural modifications to ameliorate portability and 64bit compatibility.

Hire Hare by CNGsoft is an isometric 3D game like Crafton and Xunk. It won the 2nd place at the the PRO section of the CPC RetroDev 2016.

It is available for download but there are still some bugs du to the time limit of the CPC RetroDev 2016. Check for a new version later.

Sir Ababol 2 - the Ice Palace is the last game of the Mojons Twins, download the game and its sources on the same link.

It's of course the following of Sir Ababol available in 2010, see the youtube video by Metr81 of Sir Ababol.

The last version of the Amstrad CPC emulator CapriceRPI (v 1.3) by KaosOverride for Raspberry PI is available with a fix for using joysticks. He is working on version 1.4.

This emulator based on the sources of Caprice32 by Ulrich Doewich, can also be compiled on something else than a PI with the following command : make -f makefile.notpi.

Prior to compilation, you must install the following dependances (including SDL v1.2 from memory) :

• libsdl-ttf2.0-dev
• libfreetype6-dev
• libsdl-image1.2-dev

After a remake of Future Knight by John Dimi, he is finishing programming Tomb Explorer, a remake inspired of Oh Mummy (Gem Software and Amsoft in 1984). There are 125 levels in adventure mode and an infinity in arcade mode.

Two unknown people going with the name of Fanoplusplus64k and TotOOnTheMoon have written a remake of Rick Dangerous for the game console Colecovision : Risky Rick in dangerous traps, already showed at the RGC 2015 and almost ready at 95% for the RGC 2016 at Meaux.

The next one I see programming on something else than an Amstrad CPC, will copy with his and and pen 1000 times the following words : I must only programm on my lovely Amstrad CPC.
