Jose Javier Garcia Aranda will release in a few days a new version of 8BP v34 (8bits de poder : 8bits of power), a RSX library to write Amstrad CPC games in basic (26 Kb max). You can download 8bp on github.

A first teaser appeared on the 3th April on Twitter, and no it's not faked news. Toki is a work in progress by two frogs. It wwill be released first on Amstrad CPC 6128 (forget 64 Kb CPC without memory extension) then a bit later on CPC+ (CPC+ version canceled finally).
Toki for Amstrad CPC wont use the hardware to the maximum but will have all graphics, monsters and levels. The sound part and programmation are well advanced.

Jorge Azpiri, nephew of Alfonso Azpiri (a great illustrator who died in August 2017) has been interviewed by Un pasado mejor (spanish). He made the graphics for the Amstrad CPC Navy Moves game (Dinamic) and for other 16bit Topo Soft games (Lorna, Viaje al Centro de la Tierra, Titanic).
Babaliba is a game originally out on ZX Spectrum. In 2014 it was presented at the RetroMadrid in a beta version (check the video) still at the start. Then the development froze at a moment, but a message from one of the two developpers on the 10th February 2018 stated that the project is on the move once again and that news will be given as soon as possible.

As stated yesterday, Cliff Townsend, the original author of Saboteur is working on Saboteur 3.
But, between 2010 and 2012 a french wrote as an hommage a Saboteur 3 in GFA basic on Atari ST. The program and the sources are available on official site of this unofficial game.
Pink Pills - Manic Moritz and the Meds for ZX Spectrum is a work in progress for Amstrad CPC by Sebastian Braunert and Uwe Geiken, with music by The Shining. AGD by Jonathan Cauldwell is used for writing the game.
3D Fight is a shoot them up in 3D on Amstrad CPC by Vincent Baillet (code) and Michel WINOGRADOFF (music). It's a great classic that I finished if my memory is good. You can find an interview in french in the issue 19 of Pix'n Love.
